Accounting
deals with the recording and communication of information relating
to the financial performance and position of organisations. Individual
accounting units offered encompass financial and management accounting,
accounting theory, and international accounting, as well as allied
subjects such as auditing and tax policy. You will develop a sound
understanding of the cultural concepts of accounting, with a capacity
for reasoned thought and analysis.

Our Computer Engineering programmes span the teaching and research
interests of the entire School of Electronics and Computer Science,
including computer applications, digital electronics and computer
systems engineering. All Computer Engineering courses are accredited
for Chartered Engineer status by the Institution of Electrical

new technology. All academic staff are practicing artists, designers
and researchers across the range of disciplines we offer. We believe

You can study English as a Single Honours degree, or as part of
a Combined Honours degree with Film, History, History of Art and
Design. We aim to treat our students as individuals, and to maintain
a high standard of pastoral care and academic support. Our students
run a lively English Society which arranges poetry readings, talks
by outside speakers, theatre visits (particularly to London),
and social events.

Our degrees in Management and Management
Sciences will provide you with the knowledge, understanding and
skills required to be a success in your chosen career, together
with a capacity for critical and evaluative thinking. We aim to
offer a stimulating and supportive learning environment for students
and to encourage autonomous learning.
The first and second years concentrate on core subject matter,
with an increasing number of options by Year 3, such as marketing
analysis, operations management, project management, risk management,
entrepreneurial management, and strategic management.
